Packing
BLVD Van Lines maintains an elite team of men and women that provide the finest level of packing, unpacking and placement of all your personal effects throughout the home. We aim to plan your move in advance, schedule the most appropriate packing crew and deliver a superior service. When we’re done, we want you feeling at home, with as little left to do as possible.

Unpacking & set-up. Our clients often request complete unpacking of personal effects. This service includes the unpacking of boxes, careful placement of goods in drawers, shelves and cabinet as well as common areas for display.
While we work closely with any interior decorator, assistant or the client themselves, we will surprise you with the natural flair for placement ourselves if requested as we do every day and have heard all the feedback imaginable. We will remove all the debris and every shred of garbage associated with the move from your premises the day we leave.
Video and Photographs of high value household items BLVD will always dispatch a manager for supervision at the onset of any major project. This includes photographing and recording any high value furniture, art and décor. We do this to protect any insurance policy so we have a clear record of before/after pictures of these items in the event of a claim.

When you are considering storage services, many people don’t take into consideration all of the work that goes into preparing household goods to be moved, loaded and stored safely. Whether you’re moving locally or long distance and need either temporary or long term storage, when BLVD packs, wraps and loads you using the highest grade materials and blankets you see and feel the difference.

We use professional stackers to maximize efficiency for loading both the truck and storage space you rent.

We provide a detailed inventory that not only lists the items and their condition upon pick up, it also supports any insurance policy that you have for the duration of your storage time through the ultimate delivery of your goods by our team.

The inventory is checked by a warehouse manager upon off loading and re-loading, whether it’s there for a month or 3 years.

Our storage is not only climate controlled but also pest free as we maintain the cleanliness of our facility.

In many cases for local and some long distance moves we can arrange to have the same crew that loaded it be there to unload, unwrap and re-assemble everything which makes finding nuts, bolts and other necessary parts easier.

We will estimate and charge you for the minimum amount of space after factoring in an efficient stack of your goods.

If you have friends help you load, you’ll need to either buy blankets, which are generally very thin and unless your friends have been trained by a professional mover will have no idea how to thoroughly wrap things the way we do. Local & Intrastate
LOCAL MOVE WITHIN MOVING IN CALIFORNIA LESS THAN 100 MILES AWAY… Our local moving services are charged on an hourly basis plus the cost of materials.

Travel time for local moves is charged at a rate 1.5 times the travel time between the initial load point and your final destination within 100 miles start to finish. Our household movers are efficient, clean, safe, friendly and very professional. From small apartments to large single family homes, there is no move too big or small for our capable team of movers!

INTRASTATE MOVES WITHIN CALIFORNIA BEYOND 100 MILES AWAY… Your move will be estimated based on the weight/volume of the shipment, not an hourly calculation. We will charge on a per box basis for packing and always recommend an in-home binding estimate for such moves. Our goal with every local move is to provide a superior service. We are fully licensed, insured and carry full workmen’s compensation. We have very stringent hiring and training policies and procedures. We save you money by dispatching teams that are not only very experienced but they are also well trained to expedite local “hourly” moves by wrapping more efficiently with blankets and shrink wrap. Our teams work together every day, packing, wrapping, loading and unloading together which allows them the advantage of knowing how each other works and focusing on the direction of the crew leader. This all saves time and money for you.

We never hire unlicensed, untrained, nor uninsured "temporary laborers" to load or unload your furniture. You don't have to worry about leaving our movers alone with your
family and precious belongings.

Long Distance Interstate
Interstate (Long distance) moving companies stand out by being organized, professional and equipped to handle every aspect of moving your entire life from one city to another. It is an intimidating, unnerving prospect to pick everything you have built and transport it all to a new place.

BLVD management offers nearly a century of experience with an understanding of how important a genuine “service” to our customers actually is. This word is thrown around loosely, not here. We believe in communication, the ability to articulate in English and provide a thorough, detailed plan for your move, then to execute it at a level that will keep your stress associated with the move to a minimum. We offer (SIT) Storage in Transit for every Interstate move and include up to 30 days of free storage hold if needed for most moves. Our itemized inventory system, exceptional wrapping techniques and very strict warehouse rules and procedures nearly eliminates the chance for damage and loss of your goods.

We offer “live loads” which are direct loads onto one of our fleet trucks or trailers for direct delivery as well as partial load pickups which are transferred in our warehouse to the trailer at a certain point. This is offered for those on a tighter budget and for homes where we cannot physically pick up with an 18 wheeler. Combined with our vast network of trusted partners, we have the infrastructure in place to coordinate both ends of your move flawlessly.

Office Moving
Our ownership has been moving offices from coast to coast or just across town for decades. We understand there is usually one especially important component to a successful office move, saving time. BLVD will estimate, plan and execute any office move, be it 10 employees moving across the hall or 300 employees across town or across country. We have the experience and understanding that allows us to quote the move accurately and tailor a plan that fits the needs of the staff and company as a whole. The key is always the reduction of downtime, even if we need to move throughout the overnight.

The actual moving part will be supervised by senior managers and run by foreman that will keep the train moving per say. We will deliver you goods, distribute everything to the various floors and rooms as designated in move plan. Everything from the dis-assembly and re assembly of modular work stations to the packing and unpacking of important files back to the exact location from which they came to the movement attached warehouses is part of the scope of services we provide. Our company will provide all the required insurance certifications to any building to or from which we will be moving.
